With the launch of iPad Mini 4, Apple is gearing up in the global market riding on a new wave. The comparison of iPad Mini 4 and its predecessor iPad Air 2 is on the rise. The brand claims that it has taken up the features of iPad Air 2 and stuffed it inside a compact and elegant design of iPad Mini 4. So here are certain parameter comparisons between the two.
iPad Mini 4 Vs iPad Air 2
In terms of structural design, there is not much of a difference between the two. However, as stated earlier, iPad Mini 4 has a more compact structure. The iPad Air 2 is bigger and a bit bulkier than its successor. Both the iPads have similar curved edges and contain fingerprint scanner. The color options for both the models is also similar. But it is surprising to note that the brand did not include its much talked about 3D Touch technology in iPad Mini 4.

In Display terms, since iPad Air 2 is bigger is size than iPad Mini 4, the screen sizes are hence 9.7 inch and 7.9 inch respectively. The resolution of iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 is identical which is 1536 x 2048. However the pixel density of the former was 264, iPad Mini 4 has 324 pixel density.

The iPad Mini 4 has A8 chipset with dual core Typhoon CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz and a PowerVR GX6450 GPU. This is interesting as its predecessor had a slightly better A8X chipset. There is no provision for memory expansion in both the devices and comes in with an inbuilt RAM of 2 GB.
